Bridge steel plate is not a special thick steel plate for manufacturing bridge structural parts. It is made of special steel types, carbon steel and low alloy steel for bridge construction. Before the installation of precast beam and slab of bridge, the pivot part shall be inspected. Whether there are quality problems or other defects in the embedded lifting ring reinforcement, anchorage, support and beam end, a certain amount of thin steel plate shall be prepared to prevent the moderate gradient difference during the installation of precast beam and slab of individual bridge and ensure the continuity of construction.


When the thickness of the z-direction plate of the bridge is not less than 40mm and accepts the tension along the thickness direction of the plate, in order to prevent lamellar tear during welding, it is necessary to use steel resistant to lamellar tear. The sulfur content of steel after special smelting and treatment is less than one fifth of that of general steel, and the section shrinkage is more than 15%. The steel used in general multi-storey and high-rise steel structures formed by rolling of steel plate and section steel is hot-rolled. Before welding the bridge weather plate, remove the slag on the surface of the tack weld and check the cleaning condition of the area to be welded. In the process of welding the weather resistant plate of the bridge, it is strictly prohibited to strike an arc at the non welding part of the base metal. After welding, the slag on the weld surface and the spatter on both sides shall be cleaned up. Automatic submerged arc welding shall be started and extinguished on the arc striking plate 100mm away from the end of the design weld. After welding, both ends of the weld shall be led off, and the arc extinguishing plate shall be cut off with gas cutting, and the notch shall be ground flat without damaging the base metal. When the arc striking plate cannot be connected, the weld end shall be polished, and then the arc extinguishing part shall be repaired by manual welding, and the welded part shall be polished evenly.
